Power Line ISP?

Word is that Boston area has PowerLine internet available? Something like 5Mbps throughput?

Interesting. I've heard of Power Line Carriers before but I didn't know that the technology was reliable enough for an actual ISP to offer it. Response from anyone in Boston that's heard of it?

Haven't heard anything, would be cool though.

P.S. I hate the Broadband grid in Boston, Charlestown gets stuck with Comcast (WAY TOO OVERPRICED)! Will powerline ISP's be setup in a grid such as DSL/Cable are setup?
