the last company i worked for sold about 200 .87 U servers to the company that is heading this operation... i cannot, for the life of me, remember their name... but it seemed like a good idea...

An electrical utility developed dta transimision over power lines close to 20 years ago and they were quickly bought by either MCI or Bell Labs, and that was the end of that.
