Power LED question

I just finished building a new system in a Silverstone TJ09 case and am a little confused about the behavior of the Power LED. When I hook up the Power LED correctly, the light never comes on. If I reverse polarity, the light comes on when the power suppy is switched on, but then when the power button is pressed (turning the computer on) the light goes back out. Seems odd that the power light should be out when the computer is on. Anybody else have a TJ09? Anybody have any idea why the LED would operate this way?

I think that it got something to do with the motherboard.

The motherboard is an eVGA nForce 780i SLI.

Nevermind, guys. I just discovered from the eVGA forums that this LED behavior is a glitch with the 780i. Apparantly this will be addressed in the next BIOS update.
