Power LED lights up but PC wont boot

My config:
MSI Z97S SLI Krait edition
Core i5 4690K
CoolerMaster CPU cooler
MSI GTX 970
HyperX Fury 8GB Ram
Corsair 650M Gold PSU
I assembled everything and turned on the power, my power LED on my case comes on but none of my system fans start up and my system wont boot. I unfortunately don't have a spare system to test any of the components. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

First double check your wiring, then reset the BIOS, and also try to boot with the onboard video.

And welcome to the forums.

You should remove the RAM and see if it boots then. If it still doesn't, take out the GPU and try. If it still doesn't do any better, now you can try messing with BIOS / case wiring you did on the motherboard (this part is sometimes confusing).

If none of that works, then initiate the RMA process while you can. Something might have been DOA.
