Well...After trying many many things...I removed the mobo from the case and fired it up. It ran with no problems, which tells me the mobo is getting grounded on/in the case. Now to only figure out the best way to stop that! Once again thanks to all the replys! jackschmittusa to you I owe a nice cold  CHEERS!

Try hot gluing some plastic or fiber washers to the bottom of the mobo where the mounting screws go through.
. Make sure you are using only the holes that are designed for mounting - usually have a tinned rim around them.
.bh.
 time!

Back to the idiot check...Always make sure any non used mobo/case brass stand offs are removed! The system is now completely functional and up and running...time for another
