Why? The Power Glove sucked. The Wii does not - you can see many people posting about how much fun it is. Please tell me you've actually spent some playing a Wii (more than 5 minutes playing at a kiosk in EB Games) and you're not posting this crap with no basis for saying it.

lol it does suck unless his is just wore out or never worked right to begin with. I thought those sensor things you put on your TV was lame lol. I never got to try one when I was a kid.

Why are you getting so offensive. I haven't played either the Wii or the Powerglove. But for both you have to put up sensors and some people find them difficult to control. That's what I was talking about. And his comparison, "Why the glove? What's wrong with the controller?" Cause that's what I say about the Wiimote.

Don't get it the wrong way, the Wii is far more advanced. Don't act like I'm trying to compare a new technology with something over a decade old. I'm not.

Why is the Wii difficult to control? It seems like a obvious thing that the Wiimote would be easier to shoot people in FPS compared to a gamepad, but alas this one dude spent over 1 hour without hitting anybody. Sounds like a gamepad is easier to shoot people with.

COD3 for 360; score = 8.8; learning curve: 30 minutes
COD3 for Wii; score = 7.2; learning curve: 2 hours

If it isn't proof, Idk what is.

The obvious difference is that Wii games are designed to work with the Wii controller, most NES games were not designed to work with the Power Glove. The Power Glove is basically pushing the buttons for you when you move it. The Wii remote is not at all comparable to it.

Here's some more scores for you:
Madden 07 for 360: 7.9
Madden 07 for PS3: 7.9
Madden 07 for PS2: 8.1
Madden 07 for Xbox: 8.1
Madden 07 for PC: 7.8
Madden 07 for Gamecube: 8.1
Madden 07 for PSP: 7.6
Madden 07 for DS: 7.7
Madden 07 for GBA: 6.5
Madden 07 for Wii: 8.4
(damn that's a lot of Maddens)

I don't care if you don't like the Wii, it's not for everyone - but if you're going to bash the way it controls games you ought to actually try it out a few times. I wouldn't want you to have to eat crow if you actually like it. ;) If you want to bash the Wii without actually playing it, the graphics are a good target.

:Q That is a lot of Maddens. And that is impressive, the controls were actually more intuitive there. That's impressive. I can't tell which is more impressive, the fact that the Wiimote is working even better than a gamepad... in a sports game; or the fact that EA finally did something right.

But isn't the flick of a wrist the same as pushing a button? If I find it in a kiosk, I'll try it for a while. But I'm not going to spend $250 to try it. And I don't know anybody that has it.
