Call and ask them.

BTW, 1.5 hours with 2 batteries? Something isn't right. I have 2 for my dell 8200, and I get much much more than that.

United had 4(That i saw) in Economy Plus on a 767, nothing on 757s or 737s, though they say they are retrofitting the 757s

Your computer is either a desktop P4 with really small batteries, or its time to replace the batteries you currently have :)

I routinely travel within the US (737's, A320's, and MD80's), and have never found an outlet on an airplane.

Call the airline and ask. Some only have laptop power in business class and up though.

I was on an Coach AA flight from DFW to NY a few weeks ago and noticed a power outlet under the middle seat.

If i'm not mistaken the plane was a MD80.

united airlines has a special outlet that they have for each of their seats, i think you can buy the adapter through them. i remember seeing it once on one of those pre-flight safety videos.

737s on American have DC outlets in first class. I don't think I've ever seen any kind of outlets in coach, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Exactly, i can imagine that you would need to purchase some kind of adapter from the flight attendant.

the outlet isnt easy to find without searching for it.
