Power DVD problem

okay my problem deals with sound... i have a sound blaster pci 512.. and hwen i turn powerdvd's volume up loud i get this very annoying "tweet" sound in the background... it happends on all my dvd's.. i have a p3 800 so i have no problems with the dvd decoding..


i also own a hardware decoder but i haven't used that cuz powerdvd doesn't work with it. and the creative-dvd player program really sucks (jumpy screen)

so basicly im asking if anyone else has this problem with power dvd.. oh yeah im running version 2.5 should i try getting hte latest version?

try disabling hardware acceleration in power dvd (greatly improved playback for me)
