Hi

I have the CREATIVE X 6 DVD and DXR3.

He is region free for sure, but he still donot let me change the region. 🙁(

what I need to do ?

Is there a program I need ?

and another question ...

where can I find POWER DVD 3 ? ( for free 🙂 )

is it support hardware acceleration ?

DVDGenie should let you change the region.


YOu can pick up POWERDVD in it's trial version form off of Cyberlink's site. No you can't have it for free legally.

#1 The DVD drive is Region free... the DXR card is NOT.
#2 Can the DXR3.... I had a DXR2 and when I switched to software it looked 5 times better.
 
The DXR3 is a Hollywood+ based card, so it should be far above the DXR2.🙂
 
The DXr3 is a much better card than the DXr2..
You can't use Power DVD with a decoder card. Power DVD is for software decoding.
