Power button sticking

How can I clean the power button to my case. It sometimes sticks and I have to physically pull it out or the computer continually restarts every few seconds.

Electrical contact cleaner?

Provide the case make and model. We may be able to find a source for a new power switch.

The case is a generic. I used some Map Sensor cleaner left over from working on a car. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help

you're probably not going to find quality switches on a generic case, but you can always buy a new latching switch and solder up much better controls.

This computer about 6 years old. I am testing some old hardware I am selling. Then gonna get rid of the computer also. Cleaning house. Lol

i would wire the reset switch as the power switch to get you by.
You really dont need a reset switch, as holding down the power button for 3 sec will in most cases shut the system off emergency style.
And pushing that reset isnt advisable, unless your PC freezes, which then again, you can always hold down the power button to get the same result.
