Power button no longer working

My Moto G Power's power button has stopped working. I can still wake the phone from sleep by waving it around a bit, but I'm afraid that if the phone gets turned off, the battery dies, or the battery is removed it won't be able to be turned on again. Is this something a repair shop can typically fix? I think I've had the phone for about three years.

If it's a physical button I suspect they could. Might want to ask them.
