Power adapter to use on my trip to India...

when you go to india, I would also suggest getting a voltage stabilizer. Indian voltages are, unfortunately, very unstable. I dunno where you could get those here, but they def. sell them in india for your sensitive electronics.

If you are going to do that .. you might as well ask the transformer guy to give/make you a transformer which outputs 110 volts intead of 220. Then you don't even need any rat shack gadget. I had one made for $4 and it worked falwlessly for my music system and computer ...

(you'll find transformer makers in almost any area of a decent size city/town or even a village) ..
