Picked up a spare power adapter for my NC10 from eBay, and everything looks good except for one thing - the output is the same - DC19V, but it says 2.63A instead of 2.1A ... could this mess up my notebook?

So nothing should get fried since the voltage is the same - it will just be drawing more power?

it just means the new one is capable of supplying 2.63A instead of 2.1A

The current would more properly be labeled as UP TO 2.63A. Voltage is constant at 19V, but current varies as needed UP TO 2.63A. As long as your notebook uses 19V, you'll be just fine.

No, the amperage rating of the wall wart is the maximum current that the wall wart will provide. The thing you're powering will draw as many amps as it needs, and if it needed more than the wall wart could provide it would either not work or fry the wall wart.

If your wall wart has a higher amp rating than your device needs, the device will just under use the wall wart and will work fine.
