AWESOME!

I always said they should make that. There's a place here that does make pizza poutine, it's a poutine with pizza toppings in it. This is the other way around, a pizza with poutine in it. That's awesome. Totally going to try that if it comes here.

Only Canadians would eat soggy french fries. (hint: those are no longer french fries)

I think I'm going to make a delicious potato chip slurpee.

If well cooked they remain nice and crispy, those are the best ones. Poutine is an art, it's hard to get the fries to turn out right, sometimes they get soggy, it's not as good then.

A poutine is a time-sensitive item, needs to be eaten while the fries are still crispy... If you don't realize that, then I'm not sure exactly what you think of combinations like ice cream and apple pie.

cheese curd is just cottage cheese isn't it?

i think i like BB's tex-cajun virgin better: fries topped with gravy, queso, and roast beef

or what i get at the ballpark, chili cheese fries loaded up with onion and jalapenos.

That's actually a good price for premium pizza. A standard medium pizza at Dominos or other joint will run you about that if more.

We americans are used to $10 for large pizza, $11-12 for a speciality large pizza.

Hell a large pizza and 2 litre drink from papajohns is $10 with a coupon.

nope. i thought that as well, but cheese curd, from what i have been told, are bigger pieces and more 'rubbery'. a 'good' curd has a bit of a pop/squeak when you bite into it. was told this by a wisconsoner who regularly eats them. i've never had them.

i would try poutine, but fries on a pizza just seems gross to me.

The description is accurate. Dad used to work at a cheese plant and developed a taste for curds, so he'll bring some home occasionally. Cheese curds and cottage cheese are a very different experience.

Despite living in the French Canadian shadow most of my life, only had poutine a couple times but it was okay. The pizza doesn't appeal to me, either.

I've recently.. over the last few years, developed this goddamn dairy intolerance that has stolen poutine from me. And pizza.

Feels bad man. Every day I think about all the cheese I'm missing out on. :'(

I've never tasted the poutine but I would like to.

I'm not attracted by those pizzas though.

Seriously, only $10? Damn, do we ever get raped here for everything. For a large it usually comes up to around $25-30 delivered. That's no drink or anything. Add like $2-3 for a can of pop lol. You only get pop from a pizza place if the company is paying. :p
