Pot Player! I find it better than VLC.
Winamp
CCleaner
Foxit Reader
Google Chrome

Based on happysmiles' comment, I've tried it for about 2 weeks now, and he seems to be right.

Once upon a time long ago VLC handled e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g but nowadays it's spotty...doesn't work with a lot of things.

PotPlayer seems to play some things (for me) that VLC won't, like a particular radio stream I like.

PotPlayer is amazing. I haven't used VLC for years now--I can't even express how much better than VLC it is.

No source code. VLC has never failed to play anything I want, and I can read the source if I choose.

MPC-HC + LAV + madVR beats anything out there when it comes to quality

But VLC has a priceless feature which is the ability to increase the volume of videos by up to 200% which is very good for notebooks with crappy speakers

Never heard of PotPlayer before - thanks for posting about it.
It does seem to handle jumping around to different spots of a video better than VLC

One thing I noticed is when speeding up a video for faster playback
VLC sounds much better than PotPlayer
(PotPlayer seems to add more reverb/trashcan sound)

VLC has "Enhanced Playback" which is why it sounds better than other players

Thank you....

That is an MP3 stream and if i add ?.mp3 to it,vlc plays it also!

http://24.130.65.159:8000/listen?.mp3

The reason "?.mp3" is needed is SOME STREAMS do not send out the media type with the data, they rely on the player to determine the media type and if it cant,IT WONT CONNECT

(I have had several streams with VLC where i have to add ?. and the type or it wont connect to it)

Thank you for the link
