Yeah, but even with that given, what's the price of the next-cheapest 1,000 frames/second camera? That is, to me, far more interesting than simple 720p.

i hope there is a remote so i could put it on a mini-tripod right next to my golf ball and see how bad my contact really is

If it uses the same video processor as its predecessor, the EX-F1, then you're not too far off. The F1 could produce video at 1000fps, but only at 336x96 resolution. That's not bad if all you want is lots of fast frames, but rather low if you want to actually be able to see what is in those frames...

On the other hand, Casio did claim that it could do 300fps at 512x384, which is pretty cool, and 60fps (for short periods) at 1920x1080.
