This is news to you? I take it you didn't know that the Saudis pay families of Palestinians who blow themselves up and kill Israelis?

*sigh* And so goes most of America... what is right or true no longer matters, only what pacifies the masses.

No, no, no. Saudi Arabi is our "eternal friend" and "partner in peace". My president says so.

For now, we have to keep on their good side as there is little choice.

What, aside from 15 of the 19 hijackers being Saudi nationals?

You misunderstood me, I was just saying that this news story isn't exactly a surprise. Its not like the Saudis are all warm and fuzzy toward us.

Because we get so much oil from Saudia Arabia, Bush can probably look past this which is probably true since they so heavely fund those Palestinian terrorist groups.

I'm curious. Has anyone seen evidence that the government of Saudi Arabia is or was supporting these terrorists? Is it official policy of their government to support terrorists?

Does anyone have a link that shows where the Saudi government paid off Palestinians suicide bomber families. We all know that Saddam and the government of Iraq does but I don't remember seeing where the Saudis do.

i am not surprised by this whatsoever.
i will be extremely upset if nothing is done about it.
this nation doesnt need to kiss saudi arabia's @ss
if you want to get right down to the heart of matter, that oil could be ours, whether they want it to or not.
think of it as payment for the mass murder of our citizens they helped fund.

Bah no action is going be taken unless soccer moms stop driving their 0.00001 mpg SUV's. Car manufacturers need to come out with better hybrid cars. Until then, USA is a slave to SA.

I hate to break this to you, but SA needs us more than we need them.

You'd think so but the way the American people seem addicted to cheap gas (remember when gas prices went up in the summer and people were up in arms), it seems that for now the U.S. must maintain "friendly" relations with Saudi Arabia.

You have it backwards. We only get about 8% of our oil from Saudi and Saudi is heavily in debt(much more so than we are).
