Potential problems with an ATA 100 hard drive on a mb with ata 33?

I'm upgrading my fathers system. Price is the determining factor and I've decided to go with the Aopen AX6BC motherboard. The motherboard only provides for ATA 33 support.

I thought about going with the Western Digital Caviar 20 gig, 7200 RPM hard drive. This drive seems to come with ATA 100.

I know the ATA 100 is supposed to be backwards compatible with ATA 33.

However, I'd read at storagereview.com that some ATA 100 drives may have problems being backward compatible with ATA 33 motherboards.

How likely am I to experience this?

Thanks

the whole process should run smoothly & without incident.
the only problem I've heard about is some drives being fussy about using the ata33 cable instead of an ata66 cable even though the m/board ide controller was udma2.
