ok well, i had t-mobile for just about 10 days. it was under the 14 day period where i can cancel without paying the 200 dollar fee. also, they gave me a refund on the phone and whatnot. everything was really easy to cancel. however, i just got the final bill in the mail for the cost of a whole month of service. am i supposed to have to pay for the whole month, when i only had it for 10 days? am i even supposed to pay any of it?

sorry if it's a dumb question. i just wanted to make sure before i pay it or call customer service.

EDIT: just realized there's a section for gadgets and phones that i should have posted in.

EDIT again: so i guess they didnt charge me for the full month, only like 2 weeks worth, which is fine. however, they charged me for the activation fee. does the activation fee get waived when u cancel, or does that still stand, since they did have to activate, whether or not i kept it?

You pay the activation fee no matter what. You could try to get the sales rep who you bought it from to see if they could get you a credit for the activation fee, but consitering you just screwed them on a sales commission, gl with that.

Don't know about T-Mob, but with VZW the activation fee stands. I bet T-Mob and the rest of the major carriers are similar.
