Now this may be a little vague, and for that I apologize.
I am getting these really weird freezes in cs:source. I will freeze up for about 5-7 seconds and the last audio bit will play over and over really fast. I will come back to the game and it shows my equipment re-equiped and everything will be normal, but freezing like this just doesn't work in cal
I have done two clean reformats and it hasn't helped anything.
Someone mentioned that the problem is due to audio issues w/ valve which makes me suspect the onboard I'm using. What makes me even more wary is that the freezes happen about 10x more when I'm using ventrillo or teamspeak during scrims/matches. Is there any merit to this?
**edit - if this doesn't seem like the culprit, any suggestions are welcome. I was also thinking either ram or psu too. thanks again
