Potential of QX9650 with VCore=1.35v

Hi

I just bought a QX9650 and I want to optimise it for long life 24/7 use. I will therefore limit the VCore to the tension recommended by Intel: 1.35v.

However, even after reading several forum on the subject, I only found parts of answers to my question: what is the optimal frequency (FSB & mult) possible to reach while keeping the VCore at 1.35v ?

The goal is not to beat a record, temporary or not, but simply to obtain a config (relatively) secure for the long term life of the CPU.

I saw that it is possible to obtain 10x400MHz for this tension.
But is it realistic to expect much higher frequency ?

Additional question: what would be the proper settings MB (tensions NB & SB) and RAM to achieve the optimal level?

Additional details:
-- MB Asus Maximus Formula
-- RAM Balistix DDR2-8500
-- heatsink IFX-14 + 2x 12cm fan

Thank you in advance for your help.

YMMV, but above 4.0GHz, probably not. Maybe, but I'd guess 3.6-4.0GHz would be the sweet spot.

As for settings, read this.

great chips like ruby's anand's and possibly mine can do 4.0ghz @ that voltage. However when we put stress on it, it wont hold.

The lowest i can hold 4.0ghz is @ 1.392V while holding prime. Currently im on a massive water cooling system holding 4.25ghz @ 1.408V

As PCTC2 said tho, each chip carries a millage will vary tag. Meaning, its still a pick out of a lottery.
