Potential Notebook Purchase & Question

Hello all--long time listener, first time caller here...

Just wanted the opinion of you people. I'm about to purchase a Dell Laptop with the following specs:

Inspiron 9300
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 730 (1.60 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm
256MB NVIDA® GeForce? Go 6800
60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive

and the price comes out to $1,544.78

My question is, how much might the price go down by mid July? Is any groundbreaking tech coming out that will drive the prices of laptops down a few hundred? Or is the market relatively stable right now? Thanks

maybe consider the inspiron 6000 with radeon 128 option. should be able to hit it around 1 grand with 1 gig of memory.

 
already purchased--but thanks. ATI is no good for me due to my needs in 3d modeling. here's hopin it's all good!
