Potential fake negative reviews on the IZOD Advantage Polo?

On Amazon, I am seeing a few reviews claiming that the IZOD Advantage Polo in a size XXL runs small, even though I know for a fact that it doesn't, and I am pretty big at 245 lbs. One review even states that it runs smaller than Ralph Lauren, even though I know for a fact that isn't the case (For RL I generally need to buy a 2XB instead of an XXL, except with T-shirts).

I have a feeling that these reviews are fake, despite their "Verified Purchase" tag. Perhaps employees of competitors are buying these shirts to get the tag just to write fake reviews.

I tried flagging these reviews, but Amazon has done nothing about it.

Wrap another layer of tinfoil around your tutu, the pink helicopters brain waves are making you paranoid. Or perhaps sharpening existing paranoia, whatever.

WTF possible incentive is there to post a fake "runs small" review? Seriously, think this through. It's like exercise, the first time might hurt, but if you stick with it your brain might get stronger. All a review of "runs small" might do is get people to buy a different size. If competitors wanted to try to harm a product by posting fake reviews it would be about the shirts falling apart at the seams, shrinking or colors running in the laundry on the first washing. If people are saying it runs small then it probably runs small. That's not a damaging thing to say about clothing.

i don't know what i hate more about amazon, the fact that if you're not looking for something extraordinarily specific you often have to wade through pages of junk, that so much stuff is miscategorized, that you don't seem to be able to set an in-stock alert for something shipped by amazon when there's only 3rd party stuff available, that tons of the reviews are fake, or that a lot of the questions are asked and answered by morons. i bought a slimport to hdmi cable, and most of the questions are if it'll work with phone XYZ, which is readily answered by going to slimport's website and seeing if phone XYZ is on the list (spoiler: it's not). instead of someone with that phone answering, or someone providing a link to the list, you get some a-hole saying it works great with his phone 123. i was looking at kitchen carts and in response to someone asking how much weight it could hold (which is stated in the paperwork), people described how many objects they fit on top of it. "i don't know specifically but i put 6 bananas and a canned ham on top and it seemed sturdy enough!"

as least on google maps i can flag dumb crap like people asking why wingstop wasn't open last wednesday at 10:07.

What I find very questionable is that for one person Ralph Lauren would fit him fine but IZOD would run small, but for me it is the complete opposite. Plus above XXL you go into the Big & Tall sizes which there is an upcharge and fewer color options.

or that a lot of the questions are asked and answered by morons..

What I shake my head at is the people that ask a question, "I bought this slimport HDMI cable, will it work with phone XYZ" People will answer, "I don't know I have phone ABC." Well then don't say anything you stupid dumb fuck!

one guy said he couldn't answer the question because he never got the product

Maybe the quality control sucks in the Bangladeshi sweat shops, they didn't beat the kids enough that day, and they aren't uniformly sized.

Actually, this product is made in India. Most products made in Bangladesh for IZOD are primarily woven (rather than knit), while the knitwear is mostly made in other countries. I have bought so many of these shirts and they have been mostly consistent, and actually for the Spring 2018 colors (including Fairy Tale) they actually seemed to have increased the sizing slightly.

Bangladesh--India...same shit to us Westerners.

Why do you care so much about Izod reviews anyway? Are you a paid Izod spammer?
