Potential Build - Any advice?

I am building a system that will be used for some gaming, music/video, and everyday use. I am not looking to go top of the line, and will be reusing parts. Any suggestions you could give to make this a better system? My current cost is at $1,000 wouldn't like to go too much higher.

You could probably drop the X2 4000+ to a 3800+ and simply overclock it, if you're into that kind of thing. You would save a bit of money.

Also, for the price of the X1800GTO, you could pick up an X1800XT, which is faster (NewEgg lists $199 for the Sapphire X1800XT, which is great). You'd probably end up paying more for the cooler, but it's a faster card anyway.

Does that mean the stock cooler on this card isn't any good? I've heard things about it running hot. I went with the GTO because HIS adds that very good cooling fan to the card.

anyone else?
