It's the mental health part that I take issue with, the paranoia the memory issues. You'd probably end up a paranoid schizophrenic with early onset dementia.

Ummm.. I highly doubt it. All pot does is relax me and make me feel good. The only thing that it remotely makes me paranoid about is getting caught with it.

I mean.. even my doctor told me it was ok.

I have tmj which causes severe headaches which aspirin/ibuprofen doesn't help and I asked my doc if I could just smoke a little pot since it relaxes my muscles and relieves the pain in my jaw. He said if it helps, smoke as much as I want. He said it's a heck of a lot better than being hooked on opiates and asked that if I could afford it, to invest in a vaporizer or learn to cook with it. But he said the harms from smoking it are negligible.

There's. Stats.... something like 40 percent of high school kids toked in the last year...ya think 40 percent murdered someone...this thread is retarded put it back on fox news and gtfo, because you look stupid right now. I'm not even a potsmoker anymore but my views haven't changed...

Just for shits and giggles..what do you think about people who abuse there prescription Xanax or Vicodin?

No way that can't be accurate?! At my secondary school I knew about 10 people in my year that took drugs, they were those kids.

I'm not arguing that the number of murders per year = the number of people taking drugs per year, I'm saying that the effectiveness of enforcing each law can't be determined.

Oh well if it makes you relax then it definitely won't cause mental health issues if used long term...

The smart people that smoke pot don't let you know about it, because they're smart and don't make a scene. I worked a deskjob once with a smart indian guy who was sharp as a tack and only after some wild discussion did he admit he's high as a kite every single day he comes in.

This is complete made up bs. The entire city I live in is full of drag addled crazies, the ones you want to be around are the stoners. They are the opposite of schizophrenic and crazy.

It doesn't cause mental issues for like 98% of people who use it? I'm talking about use, not abuse bro. I don't sit around all day taking giant bong rips, watching judge judy and feeding on cheetos.

How many people have you known or even heard of that this has happened to?

Willy Nelson seems fine,he's actually healthy as shit...looks way younger than his age.

Alas the only long term cannibis user I've ever known is now schizophrenic :( It's really sad.

That's because 98% of people who use it don't take it every day for 10 years.

The point of this thread wasn't to debate the legality of pot. I was just ranting about how stupid and spaced out pot smokers are. I don't give a damn about legalizing it. Heck, I'd prefer people smoked pot to drinking alcohol, probably be less crime.

*shrug*

Lazy stupid people who smoke pot are the ones you are noticing. You're not seeing the other 90% of 'stoners' who function normally.

What's your definition of 'take'?

Because I could say I take caffeine everyday for ten years.. and that means drink a soda.

Or I could be munching 5000mg of nodoz everyday for ten years. big difference

I don't really see how its backfired, the op complains there are drugees in the forum, drugees come out to post.

do you drink soda with caffeine in it? Or coffee? anybody who drinks coffee everyday for a morning boost is a worse drug junkie than someone who smokes a little pot everyday.

I don't really like fizzy drinks, but I have on on occasion when I go to the pub and they don't serve milk.

I hate coffee.
