if you desire to intoxicate then you have evolved with the rest of civilization.
Not much, I would surmise. Pot smokers are usually too busy daydreaming to know much of anything.
You can tell when a person has consumed alcohol on a regular basis (even once a week) from a young age even when they're sober. The idea that alcohol doesn't have an effect on the brain is just ludicrous. I've read that if you drink alcohol at a later age like age 25, it doesn't have the same deleterious effects like it does if you start at a young age since the brain is still forming. Drunks can be spotted just by listening to their voice and their train of thought, sober or not.
Here is a question, when you speak, do you sound like you smoke pot? You may say you don't but can you confirm with others? When did you start smoking pot? I grew up with kids in school who started pot at an early age and the effects were definitely profound and permanent.I've been smoking pot for over 40 years and I have to tell you that if you let your kids smoke weed then they might come up with crazy ideas like buying a car, stripping it down and rebuilding it themselves. I fell into this trap and the horrors I have gone through have been an absolute nightmare. For example, every time I open the hood on the car I am confronted by this drug-induced nightmare I created:

Heck, the wiring itself was another horror story:

There's also the possibility that they will use this drug-fueled knowledge for a career that earns them a respectable living. I also learned to play guitar and joined a local band in my youth, exposing me to even more drugs! Now I am stuck in a life of building and repairing computers/networks for home and small business. Unfortunately I have learned how these darn things actually work and even went to college to learn even more, earning a 3.71 GPA and making the Honor Roll, Dean's List and President's List.
Parents, please don't let your kids do pot!!
preach it brotha
Says the guy who believes in a divine, Jewish zombie. :sneaky:If your brain were not misshaped, you would know the truth.![]()
I'm not so sure about that being the case with alcohol mostly because I didn't know any alcoholics growing up, just heavy pot users. However some people I've met who are in their 60s gave me the impression they were alcoholics but were sober when ever they were around. It was only later that I found out that they had been alcoholics at a young age and then abstained from drinking since then. So it's possible that heavy alcohol use at a young age can have an effect. I just not sure that alcohol has as strong of an effect as marijuana only because people will stay stoned throughout an entire day/weekend, constantly lighting up while to do that with alcohol would definitely make you an alcoholic.
Yeah man, Dave's not here. Here is a question, when you speak, do you sound like you smoke pot?
In my experience, your personality will determine how you handle it. Paranoid? Then you will freak out after smoking it. Happy? Then you will probably enjoy smoking it. Happy deep thinker? Then you really will enjoy smoking it. Paranoid deep thinker?
You will go insane.
Yeah man, Dave's not here.
I appreciate your input, however Im not going to buy the polyan-ish take that misshapen brains did not have a negative impact as well.
tsk tsk, that's quite the mess you have there, doug. You better bring that to a mechanic who doesn't use marijuana, only drunks can fix that stuff up right.
No, I'm Dave!
Thanks for the laugh, man. Been a long time since I thought of that scene.

That's the first thing I thought of when they asked if I sounded like a pot smoker...lol!
I sound more like Blind Melon Chitlin, not some stoner.
So, anyway... nobody has any comment on the critique of the study which I posted earlier?

Nobody sounds like a stoner when Tommy Chong is in the room. My favorite scene... I think it was the next movie... they're driving home in the burning weed van and the motorcycle cop tailing them gets wasted from the smoke. He finally pulls them over and walks up to the driver's window and stands there for 10 seconds before saying "What?"
