Full page article on "street racing". Skim through. One paragraph jumps out like a ravenous tiger.

The Fast and Furious movies have sent nitrous oxide sales through the roof. Nitrous, or Nos, is injected into engines to enchance speed and power.

:| :| IT'S "NITROUS" YOU DUMBASS, NOT "NOS!" NOS IS A BRAND NAME! :| :|

And he claims that street racing is on the upswing because of 2F2F? No, you're just noticing it more. Maybe if you knew more about it than what you read from other FUD-spreading newspaper bulletins and Hollywood special effects, you might have realized that!

::snork:: What an idiot (the reporter, not you). Street racing has been around almost since the first car rolled off the assembly line. The Rice and the Ridiculous crap just made it more mainstream.

Where I live, most of the ricers don't race, they just sit around in the Safeway parking lot and play with their lights and shiny things until the cops politely disperse them, then they go home and be depressed about their pathetic, meanlingless existence and pout.

The third one is better though. Can't find it online though. I want to carve a few more images out of there for Photochopping. :D
