A mosquito could fart within a 5 mile radius and you will lose sync...

Of course, I fell for it back in the Model 180 days. Once the users worked all the bugs out of the 180 for StarBand, they took them back and forced the Model 360 on us.

Been 2 years now, so they "might" have improved service a bit.

If you are downloading, that's true.
How is it for web surfing?
Seems like sites without much in the way of graphics would load faster on dial up.

I definitely couldn't live with a 1 second ping since I'm a big FPS gamer.
 
this is a commercial system, hughes/tachyon/mci
the dish is 1.2 meters, i'll post a picture of it later

my boss wanted me to test it out, so i don't know the $ 😀
