If there are rules and standards for posting in p&n they need to posted. Mods making up rules to vacation people is ridiculous. If the mods need to ban/vacation a user they only need to do it. There is no need for the mods to make up a rule that will not ever be applied again just to ban/vacation a user.

Posting such rules and applying them evenly will lead to p&n being easier to moderate and a far more pleasent place.

He was warned on numerous occasions via PM and edited comments in his threads yet he continued to ignore us. BTW commentary like "That's my opinion" is not really commentary at all.

Recently the mods made up a rule that posted news articles must come with "sufficent" commentary by the poster. This was new rule was made up to remove riprorin, even though he complied with the new rule. This new rule has not been applied since.

Uhhh...Isn't P&N the "entrance exam" that is currently used to help weed out riff-raff from OT? If you can stay away from P&N...you pass.

Threads had the warnings in them well in advance.

Part of it is to reduce the trolling that was going on.

You right, the mods demanded commentray to go with news posts. Rip complied with that and still got a vacation.

If the mods want to vacation him, they could have done so without making up a rule that is now not enforced.

I am not privy to the banning, however, I have noticed that the posts w/out commentary are being locked down

Yeah, I found that ban on Rip to be harsh considering how much he contributes to p&n. He did actually have commentary in that thread too.
