Posting out of desperation. Extracting audio from vob file to mp3

Ok, im posting here out of desperation... (since alot of newbies hang around here now) 😛

I've got a 226mb vob file, which I want to rip the audio from, and convert to mp3.

I've tried azid, besweet, vstrip, lame, etc, etc, spend over 3 hours work and get nothing.

Except the only thing that has worked for me is Orion Studios DVD to MP3. Works a treat 🙂 but wants to be purchased and only works at 64k.

I only want to use something once, don't really want to pay!!

Does anyone know a really good utility, with a really good tutorial/read-me on how to use it??

Also WinXP compability is a must!!

P.S Anyone who posts www.vcdhelp.com is a real retard!

Use DVD2AVI to extract the audio to a .ac3 file.
the AzidLameGui to convert .ac3 to .mp3 (VBR would be best)
It's all the Doom9's Guides

[edit] Looks like AzidLameGui has been relaced by BeSweet [/edit]
