Posting in a power outage

i have my cable modem and router on UPS so i can post with my notebook assuming the power at the cable company works.

in theory i could even dial in since usually the phone still works
 
Yeah, I'm on dial-up . . . havn't used it in a while . . . so FVCKING SLOW!!!!!!

my cable company is not that far away, so i suspect that they too may also have a power outage

just wondering, how long does your modem and router stay on with UPS?

no idea, but it's a cheap 350 with an athlon connected to it too, so i'd imagine not very long.
