Nothing out of the ordinary if you already have some knowledge of Japanese food. I find that they use quite a few different types of roe in their dishes though.

I would love to go to Japan. Think I'd hit up Kyoto for the history or maybe check out Hokkaido. Crowds drive me nuts so I think I'd be a bit too overwhelmed in Tokyo.
