posting from our town's new library!!

i'm one of 2 people using the computers at the new 3 story library that opened up. our old one was small and maybe had 2 comps for pub. use. this place is awesome i'm browsing the forums on probably a T1!! all to myself. 'cept for the old guy sitting adjacent to me...just thought i'd share. hehe

i'm on the top floor, haven't even checked out what's down stairs. now there's 2 old men. i'm being invaded. send back up!!!! but really, in a room maybe the size of my house there's 6 people. i think i'm going to be visiting here quite often. screw my computer, i'll come here!

The public library here allows 30min internet use.
The weird thing is that the time remaining is displayed in bold letters on the top of the window and looks like a timebomb will be going off.

haha, life is grand. hmm....how sad does someone have to be for something like this to be the highlight of their day? sigh...

EDIT: i don't think there's a time limit. no real reason for there to be. out of 8 computers i'm the only one using them, aside from the now 2 old guys

It is not sad..what could be better then books and computers in the same space.

i know, i went over to the fiction center and though they really haven't filled this place with many books yet, it's a hell of a lot more than the old one, and less crowded. finally, some place i feel at home

EDIT: forgot to add- i love fiction but i hated the old library and bringing books home to read.

haha, little too young to drink. but a couple of my friends came in to do homework, we're gonna call one of their brother's to come up and bring him his lib. card(u need it to use these) the sunlight coming through the window has moved a lot. thanks to this my post count has now gotten me out of junior member. all is right with the world. well it isn't but still...

The City moved the old library to a new building and it is humungous.

There are several Dell P4's.

I just checked dsl reports and look what i found:

Everything(the tables, chairs, quiet rooms, computer labs) is so expensive here.
