are they going to charge for fixing the bugs again?
It's starting to piss me off. They're pulling this microsoft shiet on the little guy.
It's not bug fixes, it's new functionality. 10.2 brought Quartz Extreme, the new GCC. 10.3 will bring Expose, fast user switching, Xcode, etc...

Windows XP has been stagnant since it's release, short of bug fixes and WMP upgrades. Just because Apple is only doing "point-releases" does not mean they are bug fixes. If this was Microsoft, Panther would be version 11.5.
when did MS every charge for a bug fix? all patches and service packs have been free for at least the last 5 years
Gates mulls charging for updates

So what, if anything, is 64-bit internally in the Panther OS?? :D

And when is the next big MS GUI change? Is Longhorn going to have that Direct3D-based GUI or is that somewhere else down the road?

BTW, that Maximize thing REALLY annoyed me too, but the Photoshop users (everyone knows you buy Macs for design) don't want document windows covering up all their precious toolboxes!
