I'm in need of a good irc client and some help on fixing how text looks......... Right now it looks like crap and damn is it hard typing on this tiny kb

Well i fixed my text issue by making it bigger. Just need a irc client and a ftp client and i'll be set.

You might also want to check the General Pref Pane, and make sure the anti-aliasing of text is set to "medium- best for flat panel"

and also just double check that you are at 1024x768 in Displays Pref Pane

There are a few Mac IRC clients here, I've always preferred ircle.

LiFTP and Fetch. are good FTP clients.
