Posting from Mozilla

Ok, I have slammed this browser a lot over the years. So I decided to give it a crack again being 0.9.9 is getting good press. I have to say that I am impressed. It seems really quick and renders all the pages I visit just like IE. One problem I have right now is that it refuses to word-wrap this edit box, which is driving me nuts. Other than that I like it.

I also tried it on my Linux machine and I have to say, it's one of the best looking Linux apps I have ever seen, not that that's saying much :)

I use it too. Yes it doesn't word wrap but it doesn't bother me too much. IE is much slower in comparison.

Oh, and I'm using the Mac OS X version.

i used it for a bit at .97.... but the huge ram overhead thru me off.. since most of IE is up and running, i just use it anyway :p

but i'm willing to switch after using tabbed browsing (it wasn't very stable for me at the time).. that is very nice. another problem i have is flash/shockwave plugins.. they won't install. dunno about other plugins tho.

It's using 27M here. IE is using 8M. I just it's because IE shares a lot of DLLs with the OS. Still, memory is not a problem for
me. I am really liking it so far. I like that you can kill banner ads, pop-ups, and evil cookies from the browser.

I don't think I could live without tabbed browsing anymore

Comes in real handy like rightnow when the forum is going slow :)
