I don't know why it bothers me when people make Posts/Facebook posts like the following but it does:
  • Today would have been my mom's/dad's ## Birthday.
  • Happy Mother's Day Mom...I miss you.
  • Happy Father's Day Dad...I miss you.
It's like people post this stuff to solicit comments or something.

My Dad died years ago and I remember him everyday, but I don't post about it on specific anniversaries.

What do you think?

And no...I'm not a heartless and insensitive person, I'm actually a pretty mushy guy.

What's super creepy is when someone has passed and their page gets hacked and they send you messages

I think its pretty insensitive of you to complain about somebody missing their dead loved ones.

I agree with you, those are the types of people that are making social media the butt of many jokes IMO. I consider myself a pretty sensitive person, but that is just weird and it is really not healthy to be in a grieving period for too long. Now if they happened to have died on that "holiday" I could see that, but I personally would not if I had someone close die on one of those days.
