Hey! I just got a broadband adapter for my Sega DreamCast, burned a copy of linux to a CD and now I'm posting on AnandTech... Too cool.
Now I will go to bed. Goodnight. :)

Phew. I went back to my windows machine. I really am going to bed soon.

I got the broadband adapter for my DreamCast in the mail today. I found a couple sites that had adapted linux to the DreamCast. I downloaded one of those distros and got it running a minute ago. I used the text based web browser "Lynx" to post the original message in here. I don't have a mouse for the DreamCast so I didn't want to use X-Windows.

Anyway, it was kind of exhilirating in an extremely nerdy way.

Lol I love linux, but really, why? :D

I'd try to get my microwave running linux, but I'd afraid a segfault might roast me or something heh.

Nice job, man! Does your dreamcast have a hard disk? That'd be crazy if you could get xp to install, wouldn't it? Nah, that'd make you think you need to add more memory, faster cpu, etc.

Speaking of game systems, someone should make a console with upgradeable memory and add some options to o/c the darn thing. And maybe the graphics chip. And every 10 years, a new motherboard for it.:)
