Postage stamps can be reused right?

I know this is really cheap, but I'm filing my taxes and I want to drop them in the mail box tonight and I can't find any new stamps.

I have the correct postage from an old letter, so can I just tape the old stamps onto the new envelope?

If post mark doesn't invade the stamps, I don't see why not..
 
uh has the stamped already been sent?

if so, i dont think so. but if youre talking about like you put it on a envelope and you never used the stamp then i believe that that is alright, common sense would say yes.

but re-using stamps? i dunno ive never re-used a stamp. if i could i would save all the stamps that ppl sent me things with lol.
 
let's just say that,

I'm pretty sure I can because my grandma does it all the time (this is where I have the stamps from). I've been searching for like 2 hours and I can't find one single $.48 stamp!

Unless they've been stamped...if they're clean, then go for it

I'd write something but I'd get banned...
 
let me clear one thing up... the stamps are clean and do not have anything stamped over top of them. (IE, if I put 4 brand new stamps on a blank envelop, thats what the stamps look like)

I cut the stamps off the old envelope and have a little square of 4 clean stamps that I want to tape to my new envelope

lol... I don't care about buying a new stamp 🙂 I just wan't to drop my return in the box tonight so it gets picked up first thing in the morning. If I have to, I'll just get the stamps tomorrow at school and drop it in the box tomorrow night. I just want to send it a day earlier.
 
just print your own, get a sheet of 'sticker' paper and some scissors that cut all fancy like...
 
just go to the freaking post office in the morning, buy a stamp, drop it in the box... is it worth being convicted of a federal crime, however unlikely it is?

instead of tapeing them on, put them in a bowl of hot water, and theyll come of the paper, then use a hair dryer to dry em and then use a glue stick to stick em on so they look legit atleast.

well, tell me in a PM what you wanted to say then. I was only asking a question, so you don't need to insult me or anything. All I was looking for was an answer.
