Last job before I got hurt I got ~ $37.50/hour, PLUS about $14/hr in benefits...with more overtime than I really wanted...(60 hour weeks were common, and I commuted 4-5 hours daily)
I averaged between $80 and $100K annually with excellent medical benefits and a great union pension.

Why is salary such a taboo topic? I made $20/hr at an internship last summer and $11/hr grading papers for a class during this past semester (worst job ever--I regret taking it, but was asked by the professor and it's kinda hard to say "no" to that).

2nd Job: $9.00/hour (I am the only one certified to help a local vet in surgeries and such so I work for him when he needs me.)
3rd Job: $6.75/hour (Just took it to help pay off some bills, again part time.)

$9/hr part time, student full time. Used to make $20/hr part time working for a PC repair company a few years ago, but the job was so horrible I was utterly ecstatic to downgrade to working at Blockbuster for $6.50/hr. Half a year after that I went to my current job.

Yeah, but you probably make a consistent wage. You can make a lot if you work only a few hours on jobs that you don't get consistently (e.g. someone asks for their computer to be fixed, you work 3 hours and wait a few weeks for the next job).
