Nice. 64MB = $50 Those were the days...

I know I bought one of those for my Rio MP3 player and I thought the storage capacity was incredible.

Ahahaha, I remember buying the Creative Nomad II because it had 64 MB flashcard. That's right, it had TWICE the memory of the Rio. I ran that player into the ground.

I have 12 pages of order history! The oldest is Jan 4, 2002. I thought I had started using NewEgg before then, but perhaps I was still using MWave all the time back then:

Edit: I'm almost positive I have orders before this one - I think I lost a few orders when I changed email addresses. Oh well...

That was back in the good old days in NewEgg used Fedex.

I'm using the same card as well. Best mid-range card at the time. Runs FallOut 3 pretty well, considering (obviously not at full res and settings, though).

Probably one of the best video cards of the last 5 years (all things considered).

I remember when I first saw NewEgg, it looked like a complete ripoff of MWave.com. However they kept improving the site, and soon became much better than MWave, or any other site out there for that matter. Now, I really hate using any other site, unless I know exactly what I'm looking for .

The order history is a cool feature - I can even bring up the original description page for the first item I ever ordered (comes up as a "deactivated item" with all the specs still there).

The oldest I can find is 4/16/2002, a GeForce GTS for $48 for a computer I was building for my father. That's not the oldest order though, I had an account before that one that I dropped.

Amazingly, that Geforce2GTS, the K7S5A motherboard, Duron, RAM and 40GB WD hard drive are still running nearly 7 years later. Pretty much every piece I used for that build was cheapest available because his needs were so minimal and they're fine. The only thing that's been changed was a power supply.
