I am curious about what kind of UT2004 Demo benchmarks folks in this Forum are pulling with their OC'ed rigs...

DL the UT2004 Demo and use This to start benching... :)

the benchmark files you download have botmatch and flyby benchmarks, but no benchmarks that you have listed. What am I doing wrong?

For example, there is a botmatch-rankin and a flyby-rankin, but no dm rankin.

From what I understand, the Botmatch benchmarks are the ones that work best with the Demo... Just doubleclick botmatch-all.bat in the benchmark folder. The results will be in the lowframerate.log text file..

yeah the more bots you have the more AI that has to be calculated
usually this results in a more cpu intensive benchmark

I'd say considering my CPU speed that my scores are pretty damn good already. :) I'll see what I can do about overclocking the CPU and the GPU some more for the sake of this thread.

I just redid mine, something is wrong with the CAT 4.2's when you select AA or AF by hand.
Below is simply the highest settings that you can set on the slider in the
3d settings applet.

BTW the game is really good looking at this level

AF 16x

I think it looks awesome too... ;) This is what UT2003 should have been IMO.

I also like the option of being able to go into Spectator and max the Time Limit and Goal Scores to 999. Great addition to stability testing. Much more interesting than watching 3DMark loop.. :)

Keep em' coming everyone... Very nice scores posted so far. I guess I will see what 3.6GHz / 5:4 will push me up to... :p

TN, your scores surprise me because my scores are faster with a slower video card and a slower rig..

Whats the difference?

Do you have all the quality settings in the Demo maxed?

EDIT: I am running:

World Detail: High
Physics Detail: High
Dynamic Mesh LOD: Highest

EDIT: I will run the benchmarks again with the above settings @ default (Normal)...

Most of the 5900 users are running with max quality settings (see my post above). Shouldn't the 9800 users do the same for the sake of apples to apples comparisions?

I agree 100%... It is difficult to have apples to apples though when some people are running highly OC'ed video cards, and some @ stock... I am just trying to get a feel for how well OC'ed rigs in general (OC'ed video cards included) are handling the latest UT game. :) It appears that most are doing quite well.

As I said before, the Demo is also a great stability test for our OC'ed rigs when set to Spectator with the time and score limits maxed to 999... A nice bonus for a free Demo IMO.. ;) The full version will be even better with the ability to add many bots and maps..
