For a long while, this is what I did, good money, good travels, I think it qualifies as the best job I had. Did pretty much whatever I wanted, as long as my affairs are in order. Recently got laid off, hence the increased neffage. I'm moving on to greener pasture.

Not much of a job description; I hauled grain for 10 to 12 hours a day. Same 10ish miles of road, over and over and over and over and over...

there really was no specific job description... I was the supervisor at a customer service center for an NYC private mass transportation company. I also managed our online reservation system, designed ticket layouts, and was in charge of answering any written communication (snail mail + email) that couldn't just be answered with a form letter (also, I was the one who wrote all the form letters in the first place).

I was turned down for one promotion (to be in charge of all of the company's online sales and marketing) and was offered a consolation prize of being the head trainer for the company. my job would have been to go around to all of our different locations throughout manhattan, north jersey, and the jersey shore to train field agents in procedures, how to deal with customers, etc... I actually accepted the promotion, but while I was in the process of transitioning and training my replacement, I discovered that my replacement was going to be making twice as much to do my old job than I'd be making in my new position despite managements repeated instances that they really just couldn't afford to give me a bigger raise with the promotion.

I handed in my resignation/two weeks notice the day after I came across my replacement's paycheck.
