Maziwanka and I are going on a trip to Japan in May. We just saw the amazing pics in Mame's thread, and it'd be cool if people posted their pics of Japan.

Things we want to do:

Tokyo - the food, sumo match, temples and nightlife.

kyoto - temples, baths

osaka - temples etc

Nara - the big buddhist temple.

man, and so much more. Post pics if you have them!! 😀

Hm... you know, I'll have to check with my mom and see where our photo albums from Japan are. So I won't have access to them before summer.
I doubt I have any pictures of it, but camping on Mt Fuji and visiting a bath house were really cool.
 
Osaka Castle is nice but it's been rebuilt in concrete and the inside is just a musuem. If you have time, go see Himeji Castle in Hyogo.

Seoul Korea looks very much like Tokyo, both with huge populations & some crowded districts. Also like Japan, outside the cities you can find beautiful serene/peaceful nature mixed in with old temples.

awesome..that second pic on your list is a shopping street i believe they close down every sunday durning the day. Dah i forget the name! It has a hug ekids store at the end of it..good times.
