I visited there a few weeks ago...

now to be truthful, I like the rain...that didn't bother me at all, BUT...

People there really don't like Californians... why? I dunno...maybe we have more money and it makes them mad? If they only knew the lengths WE go thru to actually live here...we rarely have the luxury of living where we work...and if we could afford it, it's probably the ghetto (Oakland, Hayward, Union City, Richmond, etc.). "Oh, you're from California"...*me saying* "Piss off hippy!".

It seemed like every 15 minutes someone would come up to me and ask me for some MJ...which I don't have a problem with at all (the usage)...but COME ON~!... if I had any, I don't know you, so don't bum off of me. I swear, the population seemed so drone-like, unmotivated like a large group of suicidal ants.

A city without a soul...like a bad (but clean) copy of Berkeley...drone-like...if you're from Oregon I'm sorry but that city sucked.

Bad move buddy.
You've offended the Grand Nagus now.

People in Oregon don't like californians because they move up here, increase traffic, and drive the housing prices up.

My favorite thing about Californians is that they don't have a clue why others don't like them. They act like, "well I'm obviously superior so something is wrong with them." HAHA

Gary, IN scares the living sh!t out of me. I got stuck in the area one morning (~3AM) and I was scared to death.

Baltimore's pretty crappy. But I haven't had to spend too much time there thankfully!

Least favorite city: Los Angeles.

Seriously, how can anyone live there without killing themselves.

I was in Buffalo, NY thought to myself this is a hell hole. If you go to the McDonalds there you will see not teenagers but middle age white men working for minimum wages.

Gary sucks. I recently got routed through there by a friend to "avoid construction." I viewed traffic lights and stopsigns as suggestions.

It's easy. Millions do it everyday.

Oregon-Portland in general suck!

Went to College at UO for 4yrs and couldnt beleive the slacker mentality of the locals. It seemed like half the students were from CA because all the native Oregon kids dropped out at the sign of hard work.

I think its all the weed smoking that gets these kids so unmotivated.

Brother lives in Portland and I rarely go up there to visit, damn heroin junkie, weed smoking, Subaru driving , tree hugging people.

Yep - I'd rather be in Detroit than Gary, IN.

You must have went to the ghetto or something. Buffalo is my hometown and it's nice there. Economically it's a wreck though.
I havn't met a canadian yet that has kind words about Buffalo, I guess lack of knowledge breeds lack of respect.

I hated Atlanta. I also hated Pittsburgh.

If you think Portland is drab and boring, you've not experienced the real Portland. Any city will seem like sh|t, if all you do is visit the sewers! People from California are spoiled, rotten little bitches who want everything their own damn way and they want it now, no matter who it inconveniences or who has to break their back to get it. They don't care about anyone but themselves and they don't care who they hurt in order to get what they want. Jesus, FFS, when are Californians going to learn how to frickin drive!? Or park for that matter. Or not be stingy with their pot, for that matter. More like crack, though. Californians are all like little crackheads who think they're going to fvcking die tomorrow so they have to scurry around like there's no tomorrow instead of sitting back and enjoying life -or being faithful or truthful. :|

Grr, sorry... slid off topic for that last phrase.

I know very few exceptions to the paragraph above.

london ontario:
the water not only smells terrible but it fizzes - yes it fizzes, you shower and you dont feel clean after. grossssssssssssssssss

no matter where you go it takes at least half an hour to get ANYWHERE. there is no expressway, just lots of little very congested streets with no left turning lanes so everything gets blocked up. it is probabley the worst city planning EVER.

university of western ontarion (enough said :p)

and for something called "the forest city" its definently lacking a whole lot of trees!

haha, yes, I'm arrogant...I have a right to be...if you can afford to exist here you can live anywhere.

Not that I wouldn't mind living somewhere else...not that I even really like it here...but to live hear you have to be crafty and willing to put up with a lot...

That's if the residents of Gary don't kill you first.

Nofvck Vagina... as we sailors called it..
better known as Norfolk Va..
crappy town all the way around... always grey always coldish...
nothing to do but drink in the Enlisted club sports bar...

hate that blasted place...
the one thing that made me get out of the Navy was that my Squadron was leaving sunny Florida to move to this armpit...

Oh yeah, LA is my number two least favorite city now :)

but, Orange County is pretty nice...it's still crowded, but doesn't quite have that LA feel...

I like it...but the funny pary about Socal is that while you are still in a LARGE city/county, you still feel so isolated...beyond the grapevine there is nothing...hell, even getting to SD requires a 2 hour drive...

In Norcal it feels a little more open, but less isolated. I don't know how to explain it.I should add that I'm originally from Owensboro KY...been in Cali for almost 20 years.

I think my next home will be Nashville in a few years.
