When I was a kid, my parents got a Ray Stevens cassette for a gift. They promptly wanted to throw it out. So I kept it.

There was some song about a Viking. The outro said he found work posing for Molly Hatchet album covers.

Lame story, I know.

It doesn't hurt that these are both fantastic albums. I'm not really sure if these are my favorite. I grew up in the album rock era and have a rather large vinyl and now CD collection. I have had a 30+ year love affair with album art, and there are tons of nice album covers out there.

That is definately one of the best covers of all-time. It was the first one that came to mind when I seen the thread title.

Hah. I miss album covers really. I mean I guess you could order physical media, or print them out, but I have a feeling that when my son gets older, I could ask him what his favorite album cover is, and he'd be like "what's an album cover?".

There's a bunch I've liked, but I'm kind of out of the album art scene. It went downhill with CDs, and became virtually non-existent with digital downloads. I guess I'll go with this...
