Pfft, no prep is needed for those tests. Either you learned it during your schooling or you didn't. Relax and take the test.

yeah I know, I'm one of those "studying is cheating. stop artificially raising the bar. the system is sick and awful" people too, but I'm also a person who just realized that I'm going to have to play ball with the stupid sick system in order to achieve my short-term goals. after that, I can relax and diss the system all I want

I'm not saying studying is cheating or raising the bar, I'm saying it's a waste of time. Just don't be one of those people who learns stuff for tests and forgets it after and you'll be fine.

but it doesn't seem like you read the rest of my response. I agree with you totally. it is a waste of time to just learn stuff for tests and then forget it. but that's the system that's in place and like I said, I have to go with it in order to achieve my short-term goals. it's too big to fight easily and one of my goals is to make my life easy

The only prep you need is a good wanking the night before, a good nights rest, a wank when you wake up, a very good breakfast (OJ, fruits, no heavy stuff like syrup or sugary cereals), followed by another wanking, then a poo, and you are all set. Clear mind, clear body, and a full stomach :) Guaranteed best conditions for taking the test.

3 wankings? wow, doesn't seem like enough for me

But if you did learn and retain the stuff, studying wouldn't help you and you wouldn't have to "go with the system."

but the difference is that I don't care about some of the things I "must" be tested on. what I'm saying is that I'm annoyed at myself for going against the system by trying to do well on a test that doesn't interest me, yet I think I need to do it. in any case, although it seems unlikely that this thread will get real responses to the OP, I propose that we get it back on topic

It's your thread, so I digress. :)
