i really do own these on dvd, and i use divx because i defineltly do not want to bring my DVD collection to the dorms, they'll be gone in a week :|

You made 1 mistake... Star Wars episode 4-6 haven't been released on DVD yet

Not necessarily, there are a ton of reasons why he could have that and not watched it to know if it is good.. It could have been a gift and he hasnt watched it yet, He also could of bought it and just no thad time to watch it, He coulda lost it somewhere and cant find it but knows its in his house.

Tshh... You got nothing on me. about 350 movies on 2 cd's each. Another 30 on my computer.

Crappy video quality? At 1.5 gigs a movie, thats pretty good video quality. The ones on my computer are still straight from dvd at 2-3 gigs at avi, and4-10 gigs at bare dvd rip.

I can provide the actual dvd's fro about half the movies. Better then nothing...
