Didn't know where to put this, but I just wanna see what people have as their backgrounds..I still have the default blue nothing.

It's a "pager." Each one of those 7(?) big boxes is a different desktop. The smaller boxes inside those bigger boxes is an application running on that desktop. The pager lets me move between them with a click.

n0c, I don't know if it is just the terminology used where I work, but we call them "planes" at JLAB. Does the rest of the unix world call them pagers?

I've always heard them called pagers. That one happens to be bbpager (blackbox pager), so maybe that's why I picked up the term. ;)

Maybe it's an HP-UX specific term then. That's what we use in our control room (where I spend most of my time at work).

That's possible too. I've never used an HP-UX box in the same state. :evil:
