1998 Camaro 4spd automatic with nearly 135k miles. 110 miles round trip to work and back, 5 days a week. I get anywhere between 28-30 mpg highway usually. My best so far is 32mpg this past weekend.
My cage is a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE. I'm the original owner and it is paid for. It gets about 20mpg and it doesn't really do anything particularly well other than daily commuting duties and haul me and my family and all our junk on vacations a couple times a year. It is reasonably quick but nothing compared to some of the true sports cars I've driven or motorcycles I've ridden. It is a family sedan, a fairly powerful family sedan, but a family sedan nonetheless.
The car:
I drive about 60 miles round trip to and from work but I also ride my motorcycle a couple days a week. The bike gets around 45mpg average with spirited riding and will do 0-60 in 4.0 seconds flat. It is much more fun to ride than the mundane cage...the cage is more comfortable though.
2000 Maxima GLE automatic, 215K+ miles. My commute is almost 45 miles each way, I get 26-28MPG. I wish I had a "fun" car but it's not in the budget any time soon.
